The Turkish Supply Chain in Hannover

Members of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO) Board of Directors participated in the “Hannover Messe”, known as the world’s biggest industrial fair. The event was held this year between 24-28 April 2017 in Hannover, Germany.


The Vice Chairman of ISO Board of Directors, Adnan Dalgakıran, Accountant member of Board of Directors Sadık Ayhan Saruhan, Members of ISO Board of Directors, Nahit Kemalbay, Ali Eren, Nurhan Kaya and Serdar Urfalılar made parts of the ISO delegation.
The ISO delegation met with officials from the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, which organized the B2B Fair organization within the European Business Network. 58 Turkish firms organized by ISO have joined the B2B bilateral talks focusing on commercial and technological cooperation between companies.
The theme of the 70th year old event which is “Integrated Industry – Creating Value” has attracted great interest from 180 Turkish firms.

The firms were engaged in the production of industrial automation, hydraulic-pneumatic and fluid power systems, digital factory, energy, compressed air and vacuum technology (ComVac), industrial subcontracting industry, research and technology fields.
During the event, 6,500 companies from 70 countries provided their products and services to  200,000 visitors from 80 countries. Hannover Messe hosted small and medium-sized companies as well as CEOs of global businesses such as Apple, Foxconn, Microsoft and Volkswagen. 95% of the visitors were professionals from the business world, 68% were key decision makers and 44% were managers. Approximately 52% of the visitors came to the exhibition with a search for new suppliers, with about a third of them came out of Germany.
