Framatome expects nuclear medicine cooperation with China

During the 2nd China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai, Bernard Fontana, chairman Management Board/CEO of the French nuclear power giant Framatome SA, stated in an interview that China has sent a clear signal to the world through the platform of CIIE, that is, China hopes to join hands with the rest of the world in common interest. He is looking forward to further cooperation between France and China in the energy field, not only limited to nuclear energy.

Nuclear energy cooperation is a model of excellence between two states in the fields of science, technology, industry and economy, and is also a highlight of the traditional trade. When talking about the future development of French nuclear power companies, Fontana indicated that as a French company that has been deeply involved in the Chinese market for 35 years, Framatome hopes to further expand the scopes of cooperation in the future.

Framatome has been working on a plan to extend the cooperation from peaceful use of nuclear energy to the medical field. It also expects Sino-French cooperation in the field of nuclear medicine to be more extensive and in-depth.
