Egypt investment in education

The Ministry of Education just established the Egyptian Nuclear School to prepare Dabaa nuclear power plant. It was agreed with the Ministry of Electricity and Energy to create a this technical school in Dabaa area that will include 15 classes and ten laboratories dedicated to electricity, mechanics, electronics, physics and chemistry.

The duration of the course will be five years; three years of study and two years training on nuclear energy. The school is expected to start in the academic year 2017/2018 with 375 students for the first year.

The school will be built on 8 acres (SQM) under the supervision of Educational Buildings Authority and the estimated cost is nearly 60 million Egyptian pounds ( USD).
