Algeria Represents its Energy Policies in the International Energy Conference

The Algerian Energy Minister, Mr. Mustafa Qaitoni, represented the Algerian policy regarding energy production during the 22nd International Energy Conference in Istanbul.

Mr. Qaitoni said that the government is following a strategic plan to strengthen partnership, exploit and value the Algerian energy resources, such as mining and petroleum wealth. He also confirmed that Algeria need to attract international stakeholders to invest in its energy sector since there is a national increasing demand for energy.

 

The main policies that Algeria follow in order to nourish its energy sector is through, first, exploring unexploited and undiscovered pools. Second, improving the retrieval of pools in order to exploit resources. Third, using technology for petroleum refining and storage. Fourth, encouraging international expertise to invest in the Algerian energy sector.
