A flow of agreements for Rosatom

During China International Import Expo(CIIE) on November 6 in Shanghai, Mr. Zhang Kejian, director of China Atomic Energy Authority (CAEA) and Mr. Yu Jianfeng, President of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), met with Alexey Likhachev, Chief Executive of Rosatom. They witnessed the signature of several cooperation agreements between CNNC and Rosatom.

Among the flow of agreements for Rosatom, Longyuan Technology Co., Ltd., (Xiapu NPP owner,affiliated to CNNC)and China Nuclear Energy Industry Corporation(CNEIC)signed a deal of “Contract of Equipment Supply and Service Purchasing for the Chinese Fast Reactors” with Afrikantov Experimental Design Bureau for Mechanical Engineering (OKBM).  Sueneng Nuclear Power Co., Ltd(under China National Nuclear Power- CNNP)and CNEIC signed a  “Technical Design Contract for Tianwan Units 7 and 8 ” with AtomstroyexportChina Institute of Atomic Energy(CIAE)and CNEIC and OKBM signed a ” Contract of Project Appraisal for China Demonstration Fast Reactors (CDFR)” and a “Contract of Software Execution for CDFR”.

NβN Tip: China National Nuclear Power Co Ltd (CNNP, Stock code: 601985) was jointly invested by China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), China Three Gorges Corporation, China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company (COSCO) and China Aerospace Investment Holdings,Ltd. The business scope of CNNP covers the development, investment, construction, operations and management of nuclear power projects, technical research in the safe operation of nuclear power plants, and the related technical and consultancy services. Up to the end of 2015, CNNP has owned a majority shares in 15 of its 16 nuclear power plants companies as well as one associate company, two joint stock company, covering 14 operating nuclear power units with the installed capacity reaching 11512MWe and 11 nuclear power units under construction with the installed capacity reaching 12098 MWe. The total assets about RMB 250 billion with nearly 10,000 employees.
